Mission

Workshops Work was evolving from a well-known facilitation podcast with supporting resources into a fully-fledged facilitation agency.

The goal was to redefine the website as a welcoming, polished space that clearly communicates the agency’s offering and audience, whilst reflecting the warm professionalism they bring to their clients.

Objectives

  • Translate the provided copy into a new visual language and layouts that speak to global L&D and HR Leaders
  • "Warm and Bold" look and feel
  • Structure the pages and flows so that it's easy for visitors to drill down into related content.
  • Clear call to actions for visitors to contact the agency.
  • Evolve the brand, but not so far that it's feels so different it pushes the other materials out of synch

It was important to design a website that would encapsulate our previous brand work so that everything past and future became part of the same system.

The Result

Outcome

  • 'Warm and Bold' visual identity: The overall style and layouts are bold, clean and punchy in their presentation. While the carefully selected core colours are warm and communicate with conviction.
  • Textured Illustrations: Abstract shapes personified into characters embraces the diversity of the world around us. The watercolour texture communicates a gentleness and warm akin to how the agency approaches its work.
  • A significant yet smooth stylistic evolution: The updated visual language is a confident assimilation of all the previous brand work we did together.

    Taking inspiration from the Workshops Work eBooks and Social templates, we brought the design ecosystem together inside the website, creating a solid and scalable brand.
