The NeverDoneBefore (NDB) community is a global collective of facilitators who find community together, and grow the next facilitation trends through curated workshops, training, and self-started initiatives.
Myriam Hadnes wanted to create another iteration of the NDB brand for 2023. This time with an emphasis on the 2023 theme of 'The Research and Development. Department'
The key criteria was
- Evolve the existing site with a new look and feel
- Focus on a mature audience with a playful touch
- Integrate visual metaphors that reflect facilitation
- Imply innovation, warmth and community
We mapped out a brief and conducted a small design discovery in Miro. This included several moodboards to identify the right look and feel.
We also worked on the copy for the website through wireframes directly in Miro.
The final designs incorporated the CNVS illustrations as Myriam uses these for her workshops.
Responsive designed were created for the developers to show them how the site should look on different viewports.
Branding collateral such as social avatars, powerpoint slides and LinkedIn templates were created to ensure 2023 had visual cohesion across all channels.
A cohesive set of product marketing designs and templates to ensure NeverDoneBefore 2023 looked professional, relevant and enticing.

A playful (and pretty colossal!) festival space designed to house the NeverDoneBefore Facilitation Festival hosted on Welo.
